A Day at the range with the boys

Saturday was a great day to go shooting. This was the first match that both boys went with me. The boys and I got up and drove up to our local club for a small match to get me ready for the USPSA Area 8 match next week end. Well we arrived early and signed up firts on Squad 5 then proceeded to suit me up with all my gear and load my mags up. We walked around and looked at the 5 stages and I fielded what seemed like 1,000 questions from Todd. Once game time arrived we reported to the shooters meeting where they announced squad assignments and to my supprise, I was squadded with not 1, not 2, but 3 national champions. This would be like going to your local golf course and playing with Tiger Woods, and Arnold Palmer. The rest of the squad were all very accomplished shooters as well. I know all of these shooters from my years of traveling with the team and shooting all over the world but have never shot with this much tallent in my squad. One of the shooters was muti National and World champion Todd Jarrett. Now Little Todd was in awe of Todd Jarrett since he has seen him shooting on TV and in my vids. THen he realized that he has the same initiles. He spent the day picking up brass and pasting targets for us. I believe he would hav stayed out there all day. We finished up just in time before the rain hit. I have always heard that you shoot to the level of your squad mates and NOW I believe it! I shot the best match in a very long time and won my class finishing 2nd over all only missing the MATCH win by .1945 points! So close but so far! These pictures and vids show the fun!
